At a festive inaugural gala held in his
honor during the conference, IREM’s
76th President, Jim Evans, CPM, was
toasted and roasted by his two young
daughters as well as IREM colleagues
with whom he has forged especially
close personal ties since joining the
Institute in the early 1990s. Affectionately referred to by former IREM RVP
Sheila Austin, as “the little brother I
never had,” and as “one who makes
up his mind about something and then
makes it happen,” Jim was lauded for
his service to Michigan Chapter No. 5
as well as numerous other contributions he has made to IREM over the
past 14 years.
