Dawn carpenter, cpM, and Jim helsel,
cpM, recently received awards from the
2009 Realtors® Commercial Alliance
(RCA). Carpenter was named “2008 CPM
of the Year” by IREM Greater New York
Chapter No. 26 and Helsel received the
“2008 Distinguished Service Award” from the Greater Harrisburg Association
of Realtors. The RCA National Awards Program acknowledges the outstanding professional achievements of members of the National Association
of Realtors® (NAR) and its institute affiliates who received an award from

cB Richard Ellis, aMO, ranked No. 45 in the Newsweek 2009 Green Rankings.
The list, featured in the publication’s September 28, 2009 issue, measures
the environmental performance of the 500 largest U.S.-based publicly traded
companies. The ranking is based on each company’s actual resource use and
emission levels, its environmental policies and strategies, and its reputation
among its peers. CB Richard Ellis ranked highest among commercial real

cushman & Wakefield, aMO, recently announced it will challenge its
U.S. portfolio of managed properties to reduce energy, water consumption and waste disposal by 10 percent by 2012. The Cushman & Wakefield
Environmental Challenge requires properties to report monthly energy and
water use, and waste disposed, and encourages facilities to improve environmental performance. The challenge will leverage the resources of the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), ENERGY STAR and Waste Wise
partnership programs. Buildings that meet program rules, will receive a
certificate of participation for striving to improve the environmental performance of Cushman & Wakefield’s managed portfolio.
